Concordia's prayer Shawl Ministry is a ministry of people knitting or crocheting shawls, praying for those who will receive the shawls. The shawls are/have been distributed throughout the world “wrapping people experiencing a crisis in God’s love, covering them in prayer. This ministry does many outreach projects as well, including hand wraps to the military and our confirmands, and blankets provided to Dupont Hospital used to wrap babies who don’t survive delivery, mission team support (shawls or wraps to team members, as well as those being served). The next outreach project will provide hats, scarves, mittens to the homeless.  The members of this ministry have contributed much and grown much in their prayer lives.
