Associate Pastor Joe Reineke

Pastor Joe Reineke was born and raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin named Antigo. Growing up,
the church became a second home to him due to the fact that his dad was the Director of Christian Education at the Church and his mom served as a 7th and 8th grade teacher in the Lutheran grade school. After high school, Pastor Joe attended Concordia University Chicago. At CUC he was highly involved in several different music ensembles, and even ended up directing the student pep band while he was there. His summers were spent serving in camp ministry. He had the privilege of serving at Camp Luther in Three Lakes, WI for four years, and it was at Camp Luther that he met his wife Emily. He graduated from Concordia Chicago in the fall of 2017 with a degree in math emphasizing in the actuarial sciences.
Following college, Pastor Joe attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. His vicarage was served at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in Boca Raton, FL. While on vicarage, he had several opportunities to preach and teach, and also took leadership over the shut-in ministry. He was called to Concordia Lutheran Church and was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor on June 5th, 2022. On June 8th, He and his wife were blessed with their first child, Sophia. Pastor Joe greatly enjoys being able to regularly preach and teach at Concordia, and is excited to see what God has planned for Concordia in the years ahead.
