MOMMY MEALS – not just for "Mommies"!
- a Care Ministry of Concordia Lutheran Church -
In 2005, a team of women started delivering meals to "mommies" with new babies. The team soon realized that there were many more individuals and families among us in need than just those with a new baby. Surgery, illness, loss of a loved one, and other temporary stresses in life give us opportunity to serve Him by providing a meal or two.
What started as a service TO mommies has become a service BY mommies. Some women choose to cook and deliver one meal a year while others will drop off some carry-out while still others volunteer at every opportunity – it is all up to the individual. If you know of someone among us who could benefit from this ministry (like those anticipating a surgery or new baby) or if you would like to serve through this ministry, please contact Amy Osborn at 750-8694 or at aosborn@clsfw.org; or Kim Pape at 422-2429 or at kpape@concordiachurch.org in the church office.
