The people of Concordia support missions in many ways, one of those being through plate offerings marked "Missions." The core group of Concordia mission lay leaders have determined that these gifts will be given to the following organizations or individuals on a quarterly basis in 2012.
Quarter 1 – Project Mercy
Project Mercy is a Fort Wayne-based international emergency relief and community development ministry. Project Mercy's self-help programs among the Yetebon people of Ethiopia reduces the needs for crisis-driven, emergency aid. Read more...pray... and give. http://www.projectmercy.org
Quarter 2 – Fekadu Mengesha
Fekadu Mengesha is an Ethiopian evangelist the Glocal Mission Team met in 2008. We are providing 100% of his seminary funding and have commitment to roughly $6,000 support for four years of seminary training at Mekane Yesus Seminary in Addis Ababa.
