A ministry of social care within the congregation and community. Care Core is project-oriented ministry that exists to meet physical, spiritual and emotional needs of people.
Justice Bread
Justice Bread is a project of Lutheran Social Service's "Cup of Kindness" which helps assist our members in need. Justice Bread is available at Concordia 3-4 times a year and for $3 a loaf you can purchase a fresh, tasty loaf of bread AND donate to this social service. 2011 bread sale dates to be announced.
Seminary Food Coop
The Concordia Theological Seminary's food coop exists to help ease the difficult financial task of managing money for the seminary students and their families since they have given up much to prepare for God's service. Here at Concordia, we collect food in our wagon and make monthly donations to help these brothers and sisters in Christ.
January is "Canned Fruits and Vegetables" Month! This month let's fill the wagon with a wide variety of yummy canned fruits and vegetables. Be creative. Be generous. Have fun!

The goal of Care Ministries of Concordia is responding to the Gospel by caring for people and touching them at the point of their deepest needs and hurts.
