Health Fairannual Health Fair Concordia Lutheran Church & School will host its first annual Health Fair on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9 am to noon in the gymnasium. Admission is free and there will be health information and screenings available from both Lutheran and Parkview hospitals as well as numerous specialists from the Fort Wayne area. A sampling of information includes weight loss, hearing, eye care, body fat, sleep disorders, cancer care & prevention, dental, feet, glucose, osteoporosis, diet, colon-rectal, spinal alignment and radon testing. If you find this all overwhelming, there will also be chair massages available for your relaxation. Please join us, as we spend the morning focused on our physical health, then return Saturday night or Sunday morning as we turn our attention to our spiritual health!

Voter's MeetingVoter's Meeting The Board of Directors announces a voters meeting on the weekend of May 19-20 for the purpose of holding elections for open board positions. The meeting will be held after each service. See a list of candidates for the different positions by clicking here.

Help WantedSummer Sunday School Teachers: The next session of Sunday School starts on JUNE 10 and we're in need some help. We have a different set-up for summer and will need staffing for PS and KDG as "normal" style classes, and then some helping hands to lead devotions and assist on our guest/teacher led service projects for 1st-6th graders. Prep work will be all done for you. We'd LOVE to have you be a part of our summer program and give our school year teachers a much deserved break! Cubs ClubConcordia's Cubs Club Concordia Lutheran School, 4245 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, runs a summer day camp called Cubs Club. This program provides a fun, safe, loving, caring program for all children, regardless of race, religion, or family income who will be 5 years of age by July 1 through grade 6. It is a structured camp that runs from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with Extended Care provided before and after the camp.  The camp runs from June 11 to August 10. Each week is theme-based with a variety of activities including gym time, arts and crafts, field trips, weekly swimming time at local pools, and service projects.  Breakfast and lunch will also be provided through a government summer lunch program. SKYVBS Preparing for Take-off!
Our steering team has work well underway for this summer's SKY VBS - where everything is possible with God! Plan now to join us June 24-28 for a high-flying adventure full of friends, Bible-stories, science experiments, snacks, singing, fun, and faith . . . and bring a friend or two! We're always looking for some helping hands, too. Won't you join the fun as a volunteer? It's fun for the whole family! Music CD's are now available at the kiosk in the family center for $6.
