The goal of Care Ministries of Concordia is responding to the Gospel by caring for people and touching them at the point of their deepest needs and hurts. Care Core is Concordia's social ministry program of reaching out beyond our doors to people who are struggling in their daily lives to "make ends meet".
Care Calls is a recent addition to the Care Ministries at Concordia. Over 35 Concordia seniors are unable to participate and receive the blessings of corporate worship because of their physical limitations. CARE CALLERS meet a need to feel part of the Concordia Family by monthly visiting our homebound and nursing home residents with a sermon tape, a "goodie bag" and a welcomed-visit. The only qualification to be a caller is a heart for Jesus' "older" lambs and a little bit of time.
Qualifications: a heart for Jesus’ "older" lambs… the availability once a month to visit one of our shut-ins with a sermon tape & a little bit of your time. We will go out "two by two".
Care to Care is Concordia's "inreach" program, reaching out to our own members when they are experiencing difficulties in life, with a meal, a ride to appointments, a phone call, a visit, a small repair, etc.
