The objective of the Athletic Booster Club (ABC) is to
further the mission of
Overview:
The Athletic Booster Club was formed in January 2003 as a
sub-group of the PTL organization. We
meet on a monthly basis and the meetings are typically held on the third Monday
of the month, and are open to any interested parents.
Summary
of Accomplishments:
Since 2003,
over $24,000 has been raised and used to provide several enhancements to
equipment and facilities for

Uniforms
– Purchased new uniforms for 5th and 6th Grade Boys
and Girls Basketball. These uniforms
will also be used for Volleyball. $3,300.
·
Uniforms
– Helped purchase New Cheerleader Uniforms. $600
·
Uniforms
– Purchased new Volleyball Shorts $292
·
Uniforms
– New Track uniforms. $1,000
·
Basketballs
– Purchased
20 new basketballs, ball carry bags, and scorebooks for our basketball
teams. These were badly needed and
helped tremendously with practices and away games. The cost was $838.
·
Benches
– Purchased team benches for the soccer field. The cost for the benches was approximately
$500.
·
Soccer
Balls – ABC purchased 15 new soccer balls for the spring soccer
season. The cost for the balls was $450.
·
Wrestling
Uniforms and Equipment – ABC purchased wrestling uniforms and miscellaneous
equipment for the wrestling team. The
cost was $475.
·
Wresting
Mat – Recovered 2nd wresting mat $2,200
·
Portable
scoreboard for Wrestling and backup of main scoreboard. $434
·
Gym
Painting – ABC painted the gymnasium and made and installed new sound
panels. $1,775
·
New
Gym Scoreboard – Mounted at an angle for better viewing. Provided by Meijer ($3,500)
·
Additional
set of bleachers for the Stage to allow for more seating in the Gym $1,247
·
Provided
financial support for Varsity Boys Basketball team trip to Valparaiso 2005.

Fund-Raising:
The Athletic Booster Club does many fund-raising activities
throughout the school year to raise money for these projects.
Our current means of fund raising are

Hosting of invitational basketball and volleyball tournaments
